Usman Riaz received his B.S. degree in Avionics/Electrical Engineering, College of Aeronautical Engg, Pakistan, in 1993; and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Viterbi School of Engineering, Unviersity of Southern California Los Angeles, in 2004. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California. is a member of Prof. Kuo's research group. His research interests are: Efficient transceivers and low complexity coding for UWB Iterative detection Multi-sensor fusion for sensor networks Adaptive beam forming for sensor networks Particle Filter Application to Communication problems Particle and Unscented Filter Applications to Estimation Problems
