Siwei Ma received his B.S. degree in Department of Computer Science from Shandong Normal University, Jinan, P.R.China, in 1999, and Ph.D. degree at Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. He is currently a post doctor in Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California. He is a member of Prof. Kuo's research group, Media Communiction Lab. His research interests include transform, prediction, rate-distortion optimization etc. in video coding.
