Namgook Cho received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in the Department of Electrical Engineering from Inha University, Incheon, Korea in 1994 and 1996, respectively. After graduation, he was with Research & Development Division in Hyosung Corporation, Seoul, Korea. Since 2003, he has been a Ph.D. student in Signal and Image Processing Institute, Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Southern California (USC). Currently, he is a member of the Media Communications Lab led by Prof. C.-C. Jay Kuo. His research interests include sparse representations of audio signals with content-adaptive dictionaries (CADs) and their applications to nonlinear approximation of a real music recording, efficient parametric audio coding, and monaural sound source separation. Since 2007, he has worked on multi-channel audio source separation in room acoustic environments. | |
