Je-won Kang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of Seoul National University in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Currently, he is a member of Media Communication Group advised by Professor C.-C. Jay Kuo. His research interests are mainly in the fields of video compression, i.e., multi-view video coding, scalable video coding, and the next generation video coding standard such as H.265.
