Yu Hu received the B.S and M. S. degree from the Department of Electronics Science and Technology, in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. She is currently a PhD student in department of electrical engineering at the University of Southern California. Where she is a Research Assistant in the Signal and Image Processing Institute from Fall 2002. She is a member of Prof. Kuo's research group. Her research interests include H.264/AVC complexity concern and the energy/power estimation of embedded multimedia system, interaction between the architecture and software of computer systems and underlying hardware implementation issues.
