Sanjay Purushotham received his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, India in 2007. He completed his M.S. coursework in Electrical Engineering from Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles in 2008. Since 2009 he has been a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at USC. Currently, he is a Research Assistant at Media Communications Lab advised by Prof. C.-C. Jay Kuo. His research interests include multimedia data mining, machine learning, optimization theory and graph theory.
