Joyce Liang is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California. After she received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, she worked in a Navy Laboratory on a range shipboard communications systems. This experience has led to her research interest in secure mobile ad hoc networks.
